The Writers Speak

January 16, 2019 Prison Writes participants were invited by the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space (MORUS), to read their work and share why writing matters to them. Writers included Prison Writes Advisory Board member Karen Thomas, and participants poet Nadine West and Justin Corney who is currently working on completing his memoir. Thank you to MORUS and Sheila Jamison for providing this opportunity for us to share the therapeutic benefits of writing.
